Papuma Beach is located in South of Jember city, East Java, Indonesia.
I use Probowangi, and it only took 3.5 hours from Sidoarjo to Jember Station.
From Jember Station you can rent a car to go to Papuma Beach. The rental price is vary, depend on car type but it's the same price like in any East Java Cities, ranging from Rp. 350.000 to Rp. 600.000 a day, with driver.
And this is from my Google Maps showing direction from Jember Station to Papuma Beach with 40.3 km distance take about 1 hours 16 min, normally. Jember is more quite, not like Surabaya or Jakarta. Have a decent national road and nice view.
From national road, we have to turn right to Papuma. The road is narrow, bumpy, maybe because it's Perhutani (National Forrest Company) area, not for sure.
But not for long you will see this view.
Along with this view on your right side.
While enjoying the sea, you can order fresh grilled fish with sambal chilli, or ride on banana boat, or traditional motor boat.
Satisfied with the beach we went home. Don't forget to stop at edamame's outlet.
This is our favourite shop to buy edamame, since it's cheap.
And edamame is one of the Jember's agro-industry products.
